DESCRIPTION:A Joyful First Step: Pre-School Ballet and Tap Returns This Fall\nThere’s something really special about watching a preschooler discover the joy of movement—and every fall\, I look forward to seeing that happen in our Pre-School Ballet and Tap Class here at the Blue Island Park District. \nIf your child is 3 to 5 years old and loves to move\, jump\, or spin\, this class is the perfect way to introduce them to basic dance skills in a supportive and playful environment. \nStarting Tuesday\, September 17\, we’ll meet each week through November 5\, from 5:00 to 5:45 p.m.\, at the Memorial Park Banquet Hall. Our instructors know just how to blend rhythm\, movement\, and music into an experience that builds confidence and coordination for young children. \nThis isn’t about performance or perfection—it’s about self-expression\, body awareness\, and joy. Parents can stay and observe as their little ones learn to follow direction\, try new things\, and make new friends. \nWe recommend wearing comfy clothes\, and while ballet slippers or tap shoes are great\, they’re not required to get started. \nI’ve seen firsthand how this class gives kids a positive first taste of structured activity—and how it brings smiles to parents and grandparents too. \nTo reserve your spot\, visit blueislandparks.org or call us at 708-385-3304.
