A Royal Invitation: Daddy/Daughter Date Night Returns!

Each year, one of my absolute favorite events at the Blue Island Park District is our Daddy/Daughter Date Night, and this year’s edition promises to be more magical than ever.

On Friday, October 3 from 6 to 8 PM at Memorial Park, we invite dads and daughters (or any special father figure and little princess) to step into a fairy tale evening filled with music, dancing, games, and delicious food. The theme? Princess Night! So don’t forget the tiaras, sparkly dresses, and smiles.

As a dad myself, I know how special it is to share moments like this. Whether it’s spinning across the dance floor or giggling over a game, this event creates memories that stick with families for years to come.

This night is designed for all ages, but it’s perfect for daughters ages 3 to 12. The cost is $35 for residents and $40 for non-residents per couple, plus $10 for each additional child. Space is limited, and pre-registration is required. There’s no registration at the door, and the final day to sign up is October 4—so don’t wait!
