(April 30th birthday cut-off decides child’s age * new players must bring birth certificate and proof of residency.

Baseball embodies the discipline of teamwork. It challenges players toward perfection of physical skills and brings into play the excitement of tactics and strategy. The very nature of baseball also teaches that while every player eventually strikes out or is on the losing team, there is always another chance for success in the next at-bat or game.

The Blue Island Little League embodies every part of sportsmanship and teamwork that is needed in the development of a healthy, smart, and active child.

The Blue Island Little League practices at Lombardo Park and Memorial Park.
