Blue Island Girls Softball-Fastpitch is a recreational level of softball. Winning is not the primary focus for this program, with more emphasis on having fun while developing the skills of the players. Blue Island Girls Softball-Fastpitch league will teach fastpitch softball skills so that our young ladies will be prepared to move onto Travel Softball and High School Softball.

The primary emphasis of the Blue Island Girls Softball-Fastpitch will be skill development, teamwork, cooperation, sportsmanship and respect for others. Recognizing that our young ladies will have different skill levels and needs, the program will seek to maximize the potential of every player. Each participant will be treated fairly and know that she is an important part of the team and that their contribution is valued.

So, come play on and play for one of Blue Island Girls Softball-Fastpitch Teams (10u, 12u or 14u). Learn skill-sets needed to prepare for competition and enhance your current skills for a competitive mind set.

We will play at Memorial Park, travel to nearby towns to compete and meet new friends!!! we accommodate Ages 7 to 14…

Play on a Blue Island team in the SSGALs League. Learn skill sets needed to prepare for high school competition. Play at home or travel to nearby towns and meet new friends! Ages 7 to 15yrs welcome. GIRLS FAST-PITCH SOFTBALL

Sign up for another exciting season of Girls Fast-Pitch Softball! This program is based on developing the fundamental skills of throwing catching, hitting and pitching through repetition at practice. This is a great opportunity for players to prepare for the high school level as they learn important skills such as teamwork and good sportsmanship while having a great time competing.

Games will be played at home or away at nearby towns as determined by the South Suburban Girls Athletic League (SSGAL). Birth Certificates are required. Players will receive uniforms, awards and end of season pool party.

Dates: April 3rd – July 13th

Practice Days: Tuesdays & Thursdays (unless there is a game scheduled or you are notified of a change by your coach)

Practice Times: 6:00pm-7:30pm
