In a community such as ours, Soccer fields are a vital part of community growth and all around recreational development. Keeping our youth active, healthy and involved in recreational programs is one of our top priorities here at the Blue Island Park District. This acquisition of land will surely be a step forward for the all around safety, productivity and health of this community.

The Blue Island Park District has acquired over 10 acres of land located on the south side of 119th street. Soon, Blue Island will be a host to an abundance of soccer programs, and many other outdoor field activities. Because this is a community involved project, the Park District is asking for a committee of residents to get involved and help us develop these 10 acres to best suit the community of Blue Island.
