INDOOR WINTER RUMMAGE SALE!

Why wait till summer? Winter might be the time for blizzards and high heat bills, but that’s no reason to stay indoors. The Blue Island Park District in collaboration with the Salvation Army CrossGenerations, will host a winter Rummage Sale. Didn’t get what you wanted for Christmas this year? Collect your unwanted items (and Gifts) and sell them for a quick buck. Register for a table today!!

PICK-UP HOCKEY LEAGUE

Don’t let your smile get too pretty! As winter comes, so does winter time sports. And what better way is there to spend the winter active than playing Hockey. Come out to the Blue Island Park District’s Ice Rink on Monday nights for a good old fashion pick up game of hockey. Team make up will be on a day to day basis.

Face masks and mouth guards highly recommended.

Join Olde St. Nick on his favorite sledding hill for a jolly good time. Sled down the Memorial Park Sledding Hill side by side with Santa Claus and try out our NEW sled launch while your at it.

Santa Claus is coming to a park near you!  Santa will be visiting each and every one of the parks in the 12 days leading up to the holiday!  Visit one of the parks on the following day between 6p-8p and get your picture taken with Santa inside the Santa House! Bring your cameras!
