Men’s 16” Softball Summer League
Sign up for a great adult softball season. All players are to be at least 18 years of age or older. This league consists of 10 games followed by a single elimination tournament. Cash prizes for the 1st, 2nd & 3rd place finishers of the regular season along with 1st & 2nd place for the playoffs. There will be a Mandatory Captain’s Meeting and all team representatives will be notified a week in advance. All outstanding fees are due at the Captain’s Meeting.
Season begins May 17th.

Men’s Wiffle Ball League – North Division
We are proud to introduce our Wiffleball North Division. Outdoor wiffleball doesn’t get better than this! This June, five teams will clash against each other over an 8 week + playoffs season followed by a championship game against the Wiffleball South Division champs at the Blue Island Wiffleball World Series. This is an open league and registrations will be taken at a first team come first served basis. Team rosters max at 12 players.
League Supplies bats, balls, trophies, and umps. Sign up cut off is May 29th. Secure your teams spot soon. Team sponsorship suggested.

Women’s Self-Defense +PLUS
Today’s women cannot be too careful. Prepare yourself for a worst case scenario. Learn proven Techniques for women. Learn Self defense for real life scenarios. There will be NO complicated moves and NO previous experience is needed.
Why the PLUS? This self defense class combines the basics of self defense techniques and Implements them into a healthy aerobic exercise. In short, Self Defense Plus will offer two classes in one. All cardio fitness training can be taken at your own pace.

There is leading misconception that yoga is just stretching. But while stretching is certainly involved, yoga is really about creating balance in the body through developing both strength and flexibility. This is done through the performance of poses or postures, each of which has specific physical benefits. The poses can be done quickly in succession, creating heat in the body through movement or more slowly to increase stamina and perfect the alignment of the pose.

Michael LaRocca has been teaching yoga since 1970 including Purdue University Calumet from 1976 to 1994 and Moraine Valley Community College from 1972 to present. He shares with his students knowledge gained in sixteen years of study with Yogi Sri Nerode of the Bengal Province of India who passed away in Chicago in 1983 at 95 years of age. Yoga classes include relaxing exercises which relieve tension and restore good health; breathing techniques for a higher level of vitality, and meditation for calmness and clarity of the mind.
Michael LaRocca ha estado enseñando yoga por más de 38 años, incluyendo la Universidad de Purdue 1976 a 1994 y Moraine Valley Community College, 1972 – presente. Ha estudiado con Yogi Sri Nerode de la provincia de Bengala de India durante más de dieciséis años, hasta cuando Nerode falleció en 1983.
