While the Blue Island Park District may be renown for Memorial Park, most “East Siders” consider Centennial Park to be the premier park. with a full size play lot, Rentable Pavilion field house, and 4 softball diamonds, Centennial Park is truly a weekenders place to be.

Centennial Park Field Renovation

The Blue Island Park District was awarded an Open Space and Land Acquisition and Development Grant (OSLAD). Our OSLAD grant valued at $250,000.00 will pay for 50 percent of the Centennial Park Field and Walking Trail Renovation. Centennial Park’s Renovation is set to cost $501,000.00.
