Under the supervision of the Security Supervisor, security officers will be expected to oversee general park safety, lock and open gates, and respond to patron concerns as needed. Security officers will fulfill duties at multiple parks throughout Blue Island.
Ideal candidate is highly motivated, energetic, patient, talented, and passionate about working with children. Counselors for our Successful School Care Program will develop and encourage age-appropriate learning and socialization to ensure children learn basic skills and concepts, such as communication, manners, sharing, etc. This position is great for anyone looking for a career in education or recreation.

Volunteer hours are available on a first come, first served basis.
Volunteers over the age of 18 will are subject to a background check.
All volunteers must submit a Volunteer Waiver Form before the first day of service.
