Individuals with commanding and responsible personalities are needed for the 2017 Blue Island Park District Summer lifeguard team. Applications must be submitted well in advance in order to be considered.
Outgoing individuals with colorful personalities are the key ingredients to all Summer Camps. Applicants must process a dynamic personality and be good with children.
Applicants must have basic math skills and good customer service skills.
The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in a related field. A valid drivers license is required. A criminal background will be administered for all applicants.
Help keep our parks clean and looking beautiful during the demanding summer season. Applicants must be able to complete light duty manual labor.
The Blue Island Park District is accepting summer time applicants for the Memorial Park Registration Office position. Bi-lingual speakers welcome.
An Arts and craft instructor will be responsible for a 1-hour class provided by the Blue Island Park District Recreation Department. All applicants must be able to organize, supervise, and instruct an early childhood classroom with minimal assistance. An ideal Arts & Crafts instructor is enthusiastic, self-motivated and loves helping children explore their creative abilities.
Applicant must have prior experience with the fundamentals of Cheerleading, must be good with children, and must be able to create and follow lessons plans. An ideal cheerleading instructor is enthusiastic, self-motivated and loves helping children explore their inner talents.

Volunteer hours are available on a first come, first served basis.
Volunteers over the age of 18 will are subject to a background check.
All volunteers must submit a Volunteer Waiver Form before the first day of service.
