Administers swim lessons based on the American Red Cross. Applicant must be able to communicate well in an aquatic environment. Applicants will be trained to the standards and practices of the American Red Cross.
Under the direction, supervision, and approval of the Pool Manager, the lifeguard shall be responsible for the safety and well being of all participants and to assist in the administration of standard operating policies and procedures of the park district
Under the direction, supervision, and approval of a Manager, a cashier shall be responsible for the exchange of services for payment from the public.
Performs a variety of skilled and unskilled tasks in custodial care, supervision of Park District buildings and grounds, and provides information to the public on a broad range of programs, services, issues, and policies.
Under the direction, supervision, and approval of Maintenance Superintendent, the Maintenance Worker shall be responsible to perform a variety of semi-skilled and technical tasks in the maintenance and operation of buildings, grounds, open spaces, parks, and recreation systems and to assist in the administration of standard operating policies and procedures of the park district.
Experience using hand and electrical tools
Ability to read technical manuals and drawings
Physical stamina and dexterity
High school diploma or equivalent
Must provide a valid Drivers License
Under the direction of the Summer Camp Director and Assistant Summer Camp Director, a Camp Counselor helps implement the summer camp program through individual and small group activities for children ages 4-12 (Preschool through 6th grade).
Supervises camp participants from time of arrival on site until the end of each day’s program unless otherwise indicated in writing by the child’s parent or guardian.
Plans and implements both individual and group activities in a manner which assures the health and safety of each child.
Brings new, innovative ideas for activities, projects, and field trips.
Attends pre-session/training meetings prior to the start of each program season.
Watches, monitors and communicates any special set-up, cleaning or maintenance needs to the Camp Director.

Volunteer hours are available on a first come, first served basis.
Volunteers over the age of 18 will are subject to a background check.
All volunteers must submit a Volunteer Waiver Form before the first day of service.
