Director of Park – Bob Manthei

If Park Director Bob Manthei were to be described in in 2 words, it would be “hands on”. Bob came to the Blue Island Park District to oversee and help lead it to a brighter future, but within a short period as Director, Bob has done much more than that. Bob is the kind of director that does not mind getting involved in the everyday needs of the Park, even if it means taking on more roles than he signed up for.  Whether it be a shovel or a pen, clipboard or costume, Bob will surely be there, making sure your parks truly have a brighter tomorrow.
